How to Make a Banner in Google Blogger

The Google Blogger blog-publishing platform has a user-friendly interface that facilitates the manipulation of page attributes such as slideshows, counters and banners. Blogger’s editing template doesn't requires knowledge of HTML, and adding a banner consists of entering its originating file or URL in a design field. However, first make sure to set your browser’s security settings to allow for cross-site scripting. Options for Blogger banner placement include behind and after the title and blog description.

Step 1

Log in to your Blogger account and click “Design.”

Step 2

Click “(Edit)” in the header section.

Step 3

Check the “From Your Computer” bubble and browse for a banner image, or check the “From the Web” bubble and enter the banner’s URL.

Step 4

Select the banner placement from the “Placement” heading.

Step 5

Click “Save.”
