time you make a new blog post. Examples include AWeber Communications
and FeedBurner. Those services have a code you place on your Blogger
blog to get your visitors to subscribe. A similar option is to
incorporate social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. For
example, you could place a Facebook "Like" or Twitter "Tweet" button on
your Blogger site. Those services provide the button codes to program
into your blog.

When using a third-party service to get followers, you must place a
code provided by the service on your blog. Log in at Blogger and click
on the down arrow next to "View Blog." Select the "Layout" section.
Click on "Add a New Gadget." In the selection box, select
"HTML/Javascript." Enter and save the code you get from the third-party
service in the box. Your new follower tool will then appear on every
page of your Blogger blog.
